Two companies have asked to use my online pictures for site-related purposes. Its interesting for two reasons:
1) Being on Flickr means being on a site that people are using for business purposes.
2) The companies involved are looking to the internet community for free images that they would otherwise have to pay for.
Food for thought. For me at least.

I love Flickr as a photo site. But I never thought of my pictures as something commercially viable for myself or other people.For me it’s about finding images from like-minded people. I just found some pictures of Budapest… http://www.flickr.com/photos/kasmil/sets/72157594168427068/…that make me want to go.
