This is the 4th edition of “The Best Photographs the Federal Government has to Offer” and it’s nice to have a local offering for the first time. The National Archives & Records Administration, Southeast Region Archives is located close to Atlanta, in nearby Morrow, GA. Their website has an online exhibition of images, including the one above, taken in 1951 and from documents from the Tennesee Valley Authority. Note that NARA allows for copies of records to be made. So these pictures may all be available for purchase.
